MBC STUDENT MINISTRY
Our ministry philosophy:
MBC Student Ministries exists to walk with youth through these difficult teenage years, all the while, pointing them to Jesus Christ. Teens today face so many trials and temptations, and we seek to foster a place where they can come and just be who they are. Student ministry begins with 7th grade through 12th grade.
To get students to reach in, to reach out. We want them to form a relationship with Jesus Christ by reaching inside themselves and finding their identity is in Christ. We also seek to reach out to others in ministry, because we are following the Great Commandment (Matt. 22:37-39): To love the Lord with all our hearts and to love others.
Sunday Morning Sunday School meets upstairs in the Family Life Center at 10:15am. We look at God's Word through study, media, and discussion.
Sunday night is when we hold our youth service. We begin at 6:30 and end at 8pm. We meet in the 3rd Place Cafe and this is where we get together and have fellowship, students can purchase snacks, milkshakes, and drinks from the Cafe, we might play a game, and then we come together to hear a message from God's Word. We close with small group table discussions separated by gender and grade.
We have a strong AWANA program that has specific classes for middle and high school students meeting at 6:30pm. The middle school program is called Trek and the high school program is called Journey. For more information please contact the Church Office.
