American Heritage Girls is a nonprofit organization, for girls in kindergarten through 18 years of age, and is dedicated to the mission of building women of integrity through service to God, family, community, and country. We offer badge programs, service projects, leadership opportunities, and outdoor experiences. Please see our video here.

There are five level divisions in American Heritage Girls.

  • Pathfinder - Ages 5-6 and in Kindergarten (MUST be 5 by October 31, or cannot be registered for current year)
  • Tenderheart - Ages 6-9 and in grades 1-3
  • Explorer - Ages 9-12 and in grades 4-6
  • Pioneer - Ages 12-14 and in grades 7-8
  • Patriot - Ages 14-18 and in grades 9-12
  • Program Emphases:

    Every meeting/activity strives to develop the following:

  • Life Skill Enhancement
  • Developing Teamwork and Building Confidence
  • Social Development
  • Girl Leadership
  • Character Development
  • Spiritual Development
  • The girls all have the opportunity to earn a vast assortment of badges with age appropriate activities.

    How Can I Become a Troop Member?

    The national annual dues to join are $26.00 per girl, and the local dues are currently $32.50 per girl/ $20 for pathfinders. Additionally, there is an uniform expense here (cost varies by age) and a one-time handbook purchase here [$18.00 ($10 for supplement) unless ordering as a set]. See Fee Schedule here.

    A single check for national & local dues can be made payable to Menchville Baptist Church with AHG in the memo or you can pay by credit card, by using our e-giving service here.

    Each parent is encouraged to prayerfully consider any contributions they can make to the AHG troop. Without parent envolvement our troop would not exist.
